Cor Blimey Mary Poppins!

I couldn’t help but think of Bert (Dick van Dyke) when I saw this sweeping brush sticking out of a chimney pot :-)

I visited a fabulously quirky shop this morning, with artists in residence displaying their creations. I could have spent a fortune but resisted, as it’s so close to Christmas.

The afternoon was spent with neighbours and future neighbours who may move in before Christmas. They seem very nice.

Unfortunately we had to leave early as George wasn’t well. Hopefully Calpol will work its miracle.

I was given a beautiful gift in the evening. It was something bought from the quirky shop earlier in the day but without me being aware.
