Cruickshank

I hadn't been to Alexandra Park in Glasgow for some time, so decided to rectify that this afternoon. Weather wasn't great - dark, damp and drizzly - so it was a fairly short walk around.

At the main entrance to the park is this cast-iron fountain, made by Cruikshank & Co. and erected in 1880. It was renovated in 2016 as part of several improvement works around the park. I've added a photo of one of the ponds in the park as an extra.
