Illuminations

For a rainy day trip, 15yo and I headed into town to watch Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. 

It was quite a complex tale, but I thought it dealt well with the sad loss of the actor who had played the title character in earlier films, Chadwick Boseman. His character has been retired but the story goes on. The film was also able to keep the rest of the Marvel Universe mostly at arm’s length, helping the story to feel a bit more self-contained than is often the case with this series.

And it was long, so having gone in at lunchtime it was dark when we got out, which at least gave us an opportunity to enjoy some of Bradford’s Christmas illuminations. Now we are into December I will acknowledge that ‘tis the season.
