Hoopoe

The weather has turned at last, it’s windy and rain is forecast but still a lot warmer than the U.K. I wasn’t brave enough to try a dip this afternoon, too chilly out of the water.
I don’t think I have ever been this close to a hoopoe before but as luck would have it, I didn’t have my camera with me.
