Road Trip

A cold day but bright and sunny. We went to my mother in laws for an hour or so before heading off on the next leg of our journey. We drove down the side of Loch Ness and stopped for lunch at Fort Augustus. We went to Cobbs cafe which we have been to a few times before then walked down to the end of the canal. We then drove on to Kinlochleven where we are staying for the night.
I must admit the hotel looked a bit grim when we arrived so we wondered if we had made a mistake choosing it! However we had a delicious meal in the Bothy Bar both of us having roast chicken then sticky toffee pudding.
