Day 378: Not Just the Walls He was Painting

Rise during the night and cry out. 
Pour out your hearts like water to the Lord.
Life up your hands to Him in prayer

Starting at 5pm last night, we had a 24 hour silent prayer event, in our prayer room. I went for a few hours during the night. I nipped out to shower, eat and change before church to find a beautifully painted sky as a backdrop to our building. 

I spent much of the day in the room - including to be alongside the children, supporting them in the space and following some nudges that seemed to come. S and I had a joyful time painting our walls... which rolled into lots of people writing on them. As well as being used for prayer, for months this has had to be used as our work space. I work at the seat below the cross. It was wonderful, powerful, special to see and feel it being reclaimed.
