Pawdicure

Nail trim today for this guy. He hates having his nails cut after a poor experience at the vets. The alternative was to sedate him for each trim, which was expensive and took its toll coming off sedation. He would be a mess for the entire day. An Amazon find led us to this alternative. And it works! He’s snug in there, his own body weight pulls the leg holes tight against his body. He can’t wiggle out and feels supported.

We’ve found that it works best if Kaylee or I are at his head, while BJ focuses on the trimming. Lots of ear rubs, cookies and a walk when we’re done and he’s a happy dog!
