On The Lookout...

....it certainly was, and I certainly have been for these birds. Despite nesting in this spot twice this year, and with another Starling nest nearby, I've seen no sight or sound of these for months, so to hear it this morning, and to see it was great :-)

I will be honest, why they disappeared and have now reappeared I'm unsure, as it is a bird which I've been used to not only hearing (who can forget?), but seeing. Unlike other birds which I'm sure no longer stick around here due to habitat loss, I'm unsure about this ones absence. 

 Whatever the reason, it was lovely to see :-)
