Beer!

The Beer Delivery man arriveth. And he brings a fine selection of beers to the front door. And obviously we don’t leave them there. Or him. After a couple of cups of tea, some stollen and much chatter we hatch a plan to recall the 101ers and have a pre-Christmas knees up.  
Then out up town (in his van as far as Heriot Row) to meet the SK and look at photos. A couple of exhibitions in the City Art Centre. First up, Paul Duke: No Ruined Stone which we both thought totally missable. The empty street scenes  say nothing and his photos of locals are all stand there and pose things. Weird. But Ron O’Donnell - Edinburgh: A Lost World - was quite the opposite. Absorbing! Well, who can fail to be hooked looking at photos of empty shops from 1980? On to Stills to see Futureproof 2022 - their exhibition of errr emerging talent etc. Quite impressive and varied actually. But not quite as impressive and varied as our next port of call.
