Cathedral

Lovely, lazy day off. Went to Gloucester and revisited one of my favourite buildings, the Cathedral. It was quiet, apart from a couple of tours that were being led around the cloisters.

I love this building. I'm not religious in the slightest but it it s a special place. Perhaps because I'm a history geek, whatever it is, it's peaceful. There's a blip every other step you take. I can feel a project coming on :-)

Anyway, almost the weekend and a big meet up with a bunch of some of my oldest friends. Especially looking forward to the rum and raisin cake. And the rum. Oh, and the curry. And, possibly, more rum. Sorted?
