PORT DOUGLAS, QUEENSLAND

MrD and I were adventurous and tagged along for a drift snorkel down the Mossman River - close by to Port Douglas.  We were reassured there were no crocs but as we passed over the bridge to the river our guide kindly informed us that Barry the Croc was on the ocean side of the bridge but we would be drifting from the mountain side of the bridge - our guide was a Canadian!!   Very reassuring.  Thankfully all was well, we loved the experience.  We saw fish of all sizes, a tiny turtle and definitely no Barry!
