Feathered Friend

I don’t normally attempt photos of birds, and experience has taught me that whenever I finally get focused on the place where a robin ‘was’ sitting - just a second ago - the bird is already long gone. So, I’m preserving this moment for posterity. Not only did the robin remain in position just long enough but I managed to get almost all of it in frame AND in focus!

The bird graced us with a visit while we were out for a walk in some unexpected, but very welcome, sunshine at Styal Country Park and Quarry Bank Mill.
