Dunbar

Enjoying a weekend in Dunbar visiting friends. Lovely just to wander around somewhere new.  
Visited John Muir's House. I have to be honest that I'd never heard of him until a few years ago.  He was the founder of Yosemite Park and a great environmentalist in the US, leaving Dunbar at the age of 11.  His grandfather encouraged him to love nature and was devastated when the family left for the States. Made me really sad when I read that. Funny what makes the deepest impression on you.
