Happy 21st Kieran

Today was Kieran's 21st. I really don't know where the last 21 years have gone. We travelled to The Mumbles last night to stay with Cal and Sarah who have a brand new Air B and B that Sarah had built next to her house. It's beautiful and we were shocked at how much she'd packed into the small space.  The attention to detail was fantastic.  See extras. 
After a delicious cooked breakfast, we walked into The Mumbles for a quick shop before heading to Penarth for a birthday lunch with Kieran. We ate at The Deck. It had been recently refurbished, there was free parking opposite and it looked out onto the marina so was a good choice.  Cal, Sarah and Bethan joined us as they were visiting Cardiff Bay to go ice skating.  The meal was beautiful (service unfortunately a little slow) and we especially loved the cookie pudding.  
Afterwards, Kieran return to his uni house to celebrate with his housemates and we walked into Cardiff Bay to walk off some calories before heading home. 
It was lovely to spend time with Kieran on his birthday.  We're so proud of the hard work that he's putting in to become a chiropractor and we're especially proud of his kindness to others and how he's coping with his recent diabetes diagnosis.
