Side yard in the rain

We are getting some much-needed rain right now, and today it actually rained ALL day. Just for fun, I decided to run errands in it to see if I could remember how to turn on the windshield wipers in my car. I managed to complete my errands without an accident, although I did get my shoes soaked while crossing the parking lot at Rite-Aid. 

I wasn't going to put any birdseed out today because of the rain, but a pair of towhees showed up and were pecking pathetically at the paving stones, so I filled the birdseed dishes and placed them under my patio table. Within a short time, all the usual birds and squirrels showed up to eat. Wet birdseed is just as good as dry birdseed apparently.
