First frost
A long night at the hospital. J had a bed in an A&E ward from some time around 3am (I have to say I was losing track of time), I tried to rest my eyes whilst sitting in a chair by the bed. The ward was busy, and instruments were constantly bleeping.
I left to get some rest at home about 9.30am, when I took this image of part of a terrace of houses facing the hospital. A clear blue sky, with the rising sun illuminating the houses. And cold - the first frost on the car’s windscreen.
I returned to the hospital this evening. J was discharged and we’re now home. First priority for J is a shower and changing out of yesterday’s clothes.
This evening we may watch Strictly on catch-up. It was on TV in the A&E waiting room, but no sound (which made the whole thing weird and surreal) and people not paying it attention. I tried to work out the musicals, Cabaret is the only one I thought I got, and possibly The Boyfriend ? We’ll find out*
* We did. Chicago !
