Every year

The village has an “advent calendar window” display with a new window coming on stream each day. J was December 1st and this is hers. The theme this year is Peace.

She has spent a lot of time making origami Cranes (the Japanese symbol of peace) along with fish and monkeys. There is also a hidden dove of peace as well.

The photo does not really do it justice as you can’t get the pond, monkeys and small fires all of which are lit up. It’s a great scene however.
