Mollie and Ivy

We went down to Devon today to see a very dear friend of mine who has recently been diagnosed with incurable cancer.  We've known each other since we were 16 so it will be hard to imagine life without her in it.  She is seeing a consultant on Monday so that they can decide what the future holds regarding treatment, etc.  Not an easy time for them.  Her children both live and work in Switzerland so they are planning to go there to spend Christmas with them as she feels sure nothing will get started on her treatment over here until the new year.  I think it's a great plan. 

Anyway, we had a lovely day with them and a delicious lunch out at their local pub. Their little dog Mollie and Ivy had met before and get on so well, as you can see!
