Blaise Folly
I was taxi driver for the day, and while Janet and Cheryl enjoyed a crafting day making seasonal wreathes I had a wander through Coombe Dingle and the Blaise estate. The folly was built in 1766 and mainly from local limestone with some Bath stone trimmings.
Folly... that's a synonym for silly isn't it..
This is a five frame HDR which nicely warms up the rather seasonal weather. Thankfully I was well wrapped for the chill winds. The drive back was accompanied by the delightful smells of orange peel and pine cones. Put me in mind of a nice pint of ale, for some reason...
