A bit of an epic

Having headed from Carlisle to Stirling, we decided to take in a few sites for the rest of our journey to the ferry. This stone circle was probably the highlight, tucked away near Loch Tay.
We carried on with plenty of time but then had an hour and a half stationary on the A9 - hurrah.
Relief that the drive from there to Skye was easy and we were there still with plenty of time - we thought.
A road closure on Skye left us stationary for another hour and twenty minutes and our chances of catching the ferry disappeared.
Luckily the Uig Hotel had a room and so at least we had somewhere to stay.....
