Christmas Trees

Mr YB and I went into  town.  Mr YB on average goes into the centre of town maybe once a year.  He tries to avoid it as much as possible as he is allergic to most forms of shopping.  We had a look in John Lewis where I saw these Christmas trees and a present was purchased for me which has now been hidden away.  

Afterwards we went to Cote Brasserie for lunch to celebrate Mr YB's birthday which is tomorrow.  We had the Christmas menu.  I had baked goats cheese crottin, turkey paupiette followed by a wonderful winter spiced creme brulee.  Mr YB had duck terrine, turkey paupiette and finished off with bread and butter pudding.  We each had a glass of wine.  Both our meals were delicious and our bus home was on time so all in all, a very good day.
