...forgot to charge Malcolm after the last ride?

This is me in town today with a week's shopping on board ready for the 7 mile ride home. I had to resort to good old fashioned unassisted leg power, which is no mean feat when Malcolm weighs in at 60 pounds unladen with a draggy CVT hub and belt drive to boot. I wanted to save assist for the steep hill back up to the house. 

Spoiler alert.... we got home! 

In other news a good afternoon litter picking in the village with a neighbour. We got less than expected, which is heartening.
