Grey boy is home

Plenty of loud wowing woke us at 12.30am yesterday morning, I fed him and pleased when he came onto our bed afterwards for a long sleep. He has stayed at home and currently on the back of the settee, trying to tell me it’s food time.

Today was spent in the kitchen preparing food for a small gathering this evening, six of us are celebrating P’s birthday. Boomerang and I have teamed up to do the food, we have planned a taster menu, a number of courses……. I haven’t counted them yet, fingers crossed it all comes together in a few hours. N is planning the cocktails, there are a few I believe, and John has unstrung a couple sets of fairy lights, they look pretty.
