Birds and the Bees

Today was fabulous with a close to home cultural outing at Katoomba. The Exhibition was called ‘Lost Song’ highlighting the endangered population of Regent Honey Eaters. Artists Ro and Mandy Burgess created an installation signifying the forest and a trio performed a musical tribute incorporating the bird song a soprano , a sax and marimba.
As we were leaving the cultural centre rooftop we spotted the beekeepers inspecting the hives that produce the ‘Enchanted Honey’ on sale at the cafe below.
