Christmas prep

I needed to renew some of my meds, so went down to my local pharmacy before breakfast. As I sat waiting, I spotted a pile of Christmas banners on the seat beside me which were waiting to be put up, no doubt provided by the pharmacy chain my once independent place is now part of.

I overheard one of the girls behind the counter apologising for the fact the Christmas tree hadn't been put up yet and promising it would be tomorrow. At least they've waited until December, unlike some of the big shops in town who went all Christmassy as early as September.
