... advancing over our neighbor's house late this this afternoon, after a mostly clear day---not too chilly.  Marylee had coffee this morning with an alumnae person from Mount Holyoke College (which Marylee attended).

This afternoon we watched the World Cup, which is still in its group stage.  We saw parts of three close matches:  Switzerland beat Serbia, 2-3; Cameroon prevailed over Brazil, 1-0; South Korea conquered Portugal 2-1.  Of these I root for Switzerland (due to my three years spent there in the 1960s). The USA meets the Netherlands tomorrow morning at 9 am--we'll certainly be up for that  :)   The Dutch have a 2-1 record so far; I expect them to be a tough opponent.
