Portobello Beach Edinburgh Day 254
The sun shone. The beach was empty. The breeze was warm. The rowers were in training. The gulls were diving for their breakfast. I tried unsuccessfully to capture their dives but they were too fast for my lens! I chatted with a holidaymaker from east London who loved Porty Beach. His hosts, who live in a beachside road in Joppa never ever go on the beach. He could not understand it. Nor could I.
