Yorkshire on Show

Drove over to Elaine’s through fog which dissipated the nearer l got to my destination.
We caught two buses to Harrogate bus station then saw the Wetherby bus was just leaving so we got on that and got off at the Yorkshire Show Ground. We had tickets for the Great Yorkshire Christmas Fair.
First we called in at Sainsbury’s for a couple of items, the; to Fodders for lunch.
Hot Turkey open sandwich on toasted sourdough with apricot stuffing , cranberry sauce and coleslaw. We shared a portion of chunky chips and both had a small glass of Merlot.
Then unusually for us we shared a slice of Bailys chocolate cake and both had a flat white. 
Full to bursting we walked through the showground to the pavilion and saw all the stalls and even though we were tempted didn’t buy much.
The sun was beginning to set as we left and it was soon dark.
Home now and ready for Strictly.
