Black-headed gull

I liked the inky look of the water in the harbour in today's late afternoon light with this solitary gull moving slowly across the surface making minimum ripples. His striking red beak and feet along with the distinctive speckled tail made a lovely contrast.
 
The weather seemed to turn crisply cold today, finally, and it does feel like December. For fellow blippers who like Strictly Come Dancing and MasterChef, both are on and will make for a cosy Friday evening in front of the telly.  Happy weekend everyone.
