Health Care

Got my eyes checked today. How are your eyes, she asked. Lousy, I cried. I know, she demurred. After, once again, trying to fool the system by claiming the R was a K and the X was an S, I  know my doc ended up with what she needed to learn about my vision, and I ended up with stronger lenses for my glasses. Once again I was told the macular fold in my left eye is not cause for surgery or any other treatment. But I have a friend who is also a Kaiser patient and they fixed up HIS fold right away. We are all different, but it irks. I grumble, walk away, and soon forget all about it. Except right now, if I look at this typing with only my left eye, the little m butts right up next to the little a and then backs off again while the lk in walk blinks into and out of view. First world problem, I know, I know :)
