Wet

A miserable morning, not one for being out and about, but I nipped back to the gardens to collect more holly (and ivy!) since the previous cuttings are still sitting in a vase and looking festive. Job done this time though.
Watched a bit of the footie then headed over for some tenpin practice. Not the busiest really, just me bowling and Andrew repairing the skittle lane ‘kickoff’ bars; those lanes can be used for either skittles or tenpin but the bars that the skittlers bowl from need to be lifted/refitted.
Back home in time for the second set of World Cup games and for a while it looked like both Spain and Germany would be going out! In the end it was just Germany heading home but alongside Belgium, another big surprise. Just one more round of games and we’re into the Knock-outs - thank goodness.
