The Paddington Shuffle

A light failure caused all the trains to be cancelled leaving paddington for a couple of hours tonight.

As a result all the passengers were left stranded on the platforms with the only instruction being issued to sit tight and 'remain patient'.

I've never seen so many people in paddington, the main concourse was absolutely packed, hundreds upon hundreds of passengers standing around waiting for an end that seemed a long way off.

After a few infuriating and uninformed hours trains began to run again. What a nightmare.
