A Fond Fazzy Farewell

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

I didn't really have to go into the office today. Not for work at any rate.

It is odd. Now that I am into my final week, the stakeholders and colleagues who used to pester me with requests are now all like

HE IS DEAD TO US

And so my week has been BLANK. No meetings! Whatsoever!

I am not complaining.

But I went into the office for three reasons today.

1. Jefe
2. Manda
3. Fazzy

Jefe and Manda were working in one of our meeting rooms.

Well, Jefe was. Manda has finally obtained her work visa for Aotearoa which is great news but does not have a job yet.

So Manda and i chatted happily and tried not to distract Jefe too much. Then Fazzy showed up and the four of us had a fun time chatting before heading out for my semi-regular "Ice Cream (With Chips)" date with Fazlyn.

We got our chips ok, but MacDonalds MacFlurry machine was OUT OF SERVICE. Fortunately, I had a Plan B.

I'm a business analyst. We ALWAYS have a Plan B.

We went to the supermarket and I bought a 4-pack of Trumpets*. Fazzy was DEEE-lighted because they were chocolate flavour, and she conceded to me taking a picture of her.

"Ooh, we also have to do a selfie," she giggled when we got back to the office. It's our thing. The thing me and Fazzy do for reasons I have never fully understood. And she is sentimental and so am I.

So we took a selfie which I have attached in the extras.

I didn't get to see much more of her after that because HER colleagues are still making her attend meetings. So I said goodbye to my current work-wife. I love her very much and our work-marriage has been happy and full of fun for both of us.

I'll see her all the time of course, but I will miss bumping into her in the office. She is dear to me. As I expect you know.

S.
