A trip to Milton Keynes (by bus, no driving allowed yet) to the Apple shop for some IPad advice. Very helpful and no charge.

MK is in Christmas Retail mode, lots of people in the shops and plenty of choice for buyers.

The lights and the train in Middleton Hall made for a suitable First of December blip.
