Mullah Karkade

Mullah karkade with millet dumplings. Wine: Vengeance Napa Red Blend 2018.

This is a Sudanese dish. I have never had this before my own attempt from a cookbook tonight (Bryant Terry's Black Food), so I can't speak to how authentic it came out. I can say that neither of us were big fans of it, though it was intellectually interesting to eat. I also confirmed tonight that my Vitamix can turn millet to flour quickly and effectively.
