Early to Bedwyn to start another train epic. Paddington - St Pancras - Brussels - Köln - Hamburg - Soltau. I’m due to wait at Köln, but instead catch a massively delayed train that arrives before mine. Also, I get off before Köln and take a shorter route to Soltau - discovering that the hotel is right next to the station before Soltau.

A slight issue on checking in. I’m in an overflow hotel, but my keys were taken to the conference hotel because I was expected to arrive after the reception was due to close. No worries in the end, and I get to bed early enough.
