Bearsted - Edinburgh

Left home at 8.00am to walk to Bearsted to catch the 08.18 to Victoria, underground to Kings X and the 11.00 to Edinburgh arriving at 15.30, No. 44 bus to Balerno. Smooth as clockwork. A pleasant surprise and very welcome. The journey passed quickly and enjoyably, mostly spent looking out of the window with a bit of reading thrown in.

Foggy or misty most of the way. Certainly foggy on the Tyne. Cleared in the last half hour into Edinburgh. Train packed.

Blood sugar levels were good given that the usual meals were replaced by snacking and wine.
