Point of View

When you look out the door maybe you see the gloominess of a late November sky; or the bare and skeletal lilac trees no longer protecting us from street view; perhaps it’s the colorless landscape with the exceptions of decaying browns and grassy greens • However, when I look out this door, specifically on this afternoon, I only notice the unobstructed view! Finally!! No more ladders or dangling human legs; No electrical cords snaking across the patio or drills; No nail guns rapid firing or compressors. Yes, Steve finished!! • There’s still staining and painting to be done but that will have to wait until next summer • Inspired by Memories4me we mailed a couple of gift packages today and have a shopping day planned for tomorrow. With the house to ourselves we’ll get back to doing a little light decorating, too. The Elves need to get on with their holiday cheer!! • Goodbye November, Hello December!! :)
