Dave

Given that I finished my work up in record time between last night and today I had a free afternoon. Our friend Dave called to see if we were up to anything at quite a handy time.

We all ended up jumping in the car and heading for Loch Leven. None of us had been out to the castle before. If I'm honest it was a bit of a swizz. We spent about ten minutes looking round the castle then it turned out that most of the island was closed off so we were back on the boat probably less than half an hour after setting foot on the island.

After that we jumped back in the car and Went up to West Lomond instead. We parked up and did the half ile or so walk to see the Bonnet Stane. Given that it was free unlike the Castle it was far more satisfying.

Oh and while we were there Aberdeen won their match meaning they've qualified for next season's Europa league. A good day all in all.
