All change

It stated well but soon the fog drew in and hung about with black ice all day.

Mr C Struggled with the on-line form for the Ghana visit. It used to be simple - none required - but since we have made it hard for African nations to come here they are reciprocating big time. It kept crashing. We made a dash to get to Alnwick to get photos taken. I look like a criminal and even worse than usual. I’ll be banned on sight of it.

Chris the electrician came to take advantage of the ceilings being down to run cables into the bathroom roof space for when we need new lights. And the good news is the ceilings are to be put up in 2 weeks but decorating will be after New Year. It will be wonderful to be warm.

Friend Chris said she was fed up and did I want to go to Morpeth with her. So we had a look in the shops and despite not needing anything we both made purchases. I got an expensive velvet dress, mainly red, navy and purple. It will be nice for Xmas but what sold it was that Jenny and I are going to Venice next October for her 75th and are splashing out on tickets at La Fenice which was closed for refurbishment last time we went. So really it was essential!
