Kilcoe Castle

Kilcoe Castle, the home of actor Jeremy Irons, taken on a very grey evening but there was just enough light to highlight the unusual coloured walls. As a friend of mine was care taking the place a few years ago, I was lucky enough to have a look inside and it really is quite an incredible restoration. The views across Roaring Water Bay are fantastic and the dungeons pretty bleak for those detained centuries ago.
