Christmas Shopping

A day of cancellations. Visibility too horrible for this chap to go flying as planned and a late afternoon visit from a chap who needs to look a thing in the house cancelled because of illness. So we took advantage of the space in the diary to make a start on prep for the big day.
The location was Redbrick Mill in Batley which, for those of you who are not in the know, is a destination for design addicts. It’s got a branch of Heals and lots of other high end places. Not an obvious place to situate it but it seems to work.
The kitchen shop I was planning to visit has moved but we found what we wanted in a new place.
We also managed to track down a few bits on line and bought a new dishwasher as ours has gone kaput. An expensive day, softened by coffee and a stolen bit of Mr EAnn’s brownie.
And it’s nearly dark at 4 pm. Roll on Spring.
