Baja Fairy Duster

I was working (on this lovely day) in my backyard when I realized my fairy duster needed some TLC so I did some pinching. These are tiny little seeds (buds?) on the bush. The pink “duster” flowers are only about 1 in/2.5 cm wide. The bud thingies are downright minuscule. Maybe it would work for TT. Thanks, david.

I cleaned and filled the water dishes, put out some grape jelly, oranges and nectar. This may sound like something I would have been doing all the time but I had lost my passion. For my backyard birds. For sitting on the patio. For staying home in the morning. It’s as if my heart disappeared.

I don’t know if I will start hanging out back like I used to, setting up my camera, taking in the morning sun and sipping on my coffee. I hope so.

Today I learned that two recent studies have shown that corticosteroid injections used for arthritic joint pain may be accelerating the progression of osteoarthritis.

In other news…other than my usual stuff, I got a haircut. Mind blowing. I know!
