There was nearly a murder today…

…when Rosie Satan tried to jump onto the back of my desk to reach my coffee this morning! She managed to knock both power boxes for my monitors off the desk which in turn pulled the power cable out of one monitor. She also pulled out a display port cable. So both monitors went black! And my keyboard (not wireless) went flying across the room.

Once I got everything back in order there were a few dialogue boxes on screen… nothing major though! The air was blue for a moment or two!

Hardly slept last night for stressing over a work issue. So much for “sleeping on it”! Once I looked at it again, I made a plan of action then spoke to the client. Issue resolved with a worse case scenario. I don’t know what all the fuss was about………!!!

In other news, the client who converted his garage without a Building Warrant had booked another inspection for today and the Building standards surveyor was happy with all the evidence I gave him. Hurrah! He can now sell his house!
