The mind boggles.....

... why someone would leave such a mess behind them on public transport.

On my way home on the tube from my BSL classs, I sat down opposite two (what I think may have been) Romanian ladies with a little girl of about 8 yrs and a buggy. They had takeaway food laid out on the seat and they were sitting in the two chairs either side of it. They, and the little girl, were both eating and after a couple of stops they got off.
They both knew full well what mess they had left behind and did nothing to clean it up. There was rice everywhere, along with lettuce and bits of meat and a spilled drink on the floor.
Now, I have nothing against anyone of any particular ethnicity, race or creed, but this kind of disrespect and slovenliness absolutely disgusts (and angers) me. Would they leave a mess like this on their own home?! I doubt it. Also, what kind of message are they teaching the young girl?!
I'd be mortified to leave a mess like that anywhere, never mind on public transport.
