Return of the Goldfinch
I was so glad I had made the decision to leave the dandelions alone as the goldfinches were attracted to them the last time they were in the garden.
Today I noticed two of these colourful birds in the middle of the dandelions again shredding them to pieces. I got a few blips of them in the plant but I much preferred this one of the goldfinch on top of a bird feeder . If you look large you can see very clearly a wispy piece of the dandelion clock which it had flown up with it in its beak.
I was so lucky to have had the big Sigma lens already on the camera or I would have missed this one which I took fom the front door.
