Dutch delivery ...

Today in the village we had the monthly arrival of the Janssen flower export lorry from Holland. The driver parks his enormous lorry parallel with the greengrocers, filling almost the whole breadth of the little street. Today he had Christmas supplies: little fir trees, orchids, poinsettias, cyclamen, pansies and diverse lilies.

With it being a truly dull, grey, dreary end of November day today, this splash of colour on the street was a lovely distraction.
