Polishing it Off
A fine day - blue skies and no wind, so just the day for a bit of polishing that hull. With a brief interlude helping Coxy with his rudder. Home to wash it all off and do a bit of the SK’s family history - who knew she came from a long line of basketmakers in the High Street in Edinburgh? All called William.
We were just starting to prepare a pie and tatties as a great treat when we got a call from P&K - they were off to watch She Said at the Vue and did we fancy coming along? Well, never say no to stuff, eh, so off we went. And it’s a pretty decent film, well acted and given the thinness of the story they manage (mostly) to keep it moving along and engaging. Not a patch on Spotlight though if you really want to see a film about journalism. Home to no pie.
It’s kicking off in China on the news. Their absurd zero covid policy has begun to shred even a normally compliant police state like theirs. We can but hope.
