A dream come true

When O was under the weather last week he started waking up sobbing during the night and the only thing that would calm him was his favourite little cartoon called Helper Cars.  Last night he woke up crying but not sobbing so I took him downstairs and put ‘car, cars’ on, as he calls it. I tried to put him back down but he wasn’t quite ready.  Anyway, an hour or so later he went down no problem and slept through til about 7.

During the morning and while the sun was shining we went for a little walk and he was delighted to see a real life ‘Helper Car’ a.k.a a digger and also spotted a dumper truck.  After all that excitement it was time for a nap when we got back.  Followed by lunch, some cars on the tv and another walk but this time in the pushchair and drizzle.  He was tucked up in bed by 6.15 exhausted. Fingers crossed for a better night  :-)
