Typical fen view - and attitude

It had been raining quite heavily on my way to church but had stopped when we came out. My route home was along this long, straight road which was devoid of habitation and on either side were the flat fields of black earth now showing the shoots of winter wheat  and the beautiful silhouette of the row of poplars.
I stopped the car to take the photo but didn't get out. The road ahead was deserted - just a car far behind me. As I took the photo the car behind passed me and stopped to ask if I was OK, another pulled up as well   - would have been Good Samaritans if I had been in trouble but I explained I was just taking a photo and thanked them for their concern!
